Most free image tools on the web work the same way: you upload your photo to a server, a program you cannot see processes it, and you download the result. That is fine for a holiday snapshot and genuinely risky for a client mockup, a signed document or a photo of a person who did not agree to have their picture stored on a stranger's hard drive.
The image tools on Shah Khan Tools take a different route. Your file is read by the browser's own FileReader interface, drawn onto a canvas element, and re-encoded locally. The processed image is handed straight back to you as a download. No network request carries your picture anywhere, which is why these tools stay fast even with a 20 MB photo and a slow connection.
